| Description | 1986 CHEVROLET CAMARO IROC-Z 15.6K ORIGINAL MILES
For sale is a 1986 Chevrolet IROC-Z with only 15,600 original miles. This car is like brand new. It is unmodified, except for a CD player professionally and tastefully installed in the rear boot hideway, lockable box and a professionally installed Viper alarm system. I still have the CRS emblem that goes where the CD controller is now adhered to.
Like previously noted this car is bone stock, unmodified, unmolested in anyway. Besides the CD player, the only other notable difference is the CROSS FIRE INJECTION emblem in the rear is gold instead of silver, because the original silver one fell off.
Also the passenger’s side seat belt buckle was replaced. THAT IS IT.
The car has some interesting and rare options, including the J65 code 4-wheel disc brakes and the auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The car has tires about 2K adult-driven miles and again are virtually new.
I bought this car four years ago from I believe the second owner when the car had around 7800 miles on it.
This car is collector-quality in every way. I wanted this car more than life when I was in high school, finally found the perfect example, now have to sell it because of this current situation. NOTHING is better than cruising with the t-tops off listening to your favorite CD in this car. It gets looks constantly, is quick, handles like a dream, no squeaks, no rattles, perfect example of a collector-quality 1986 IROC-Z.
However, there is a very small blemish on the left rear bumper. Please see the image. I don’t know how it got there. There is also some spiderwebbing along the front spoiler. You have to get up close to see it.
Since I’ve owned the car, I’ve had the following done to it and have all receipts:
1. Tires, less than 6K miles
2. Throttle position sensor
3. Brake master cylinder
4. Alternator Belt (2-25-09)
5. A/C Belt (2-25-09)
6. Power Steering Belt (2-25-09)
7. Air pump belt (2-25-09)
8. Oil (synthetic ONLY)/oil filter/air filter about 200 miles ago)
On 9-19-09:
1. Starter replaced
2. PCM replaced
3. Distributor cap replaced
…and other routine maintenance.
I will accept payment by bank to bank wire transfer or certified check only. I own this car outright and have the title.
I won’t accept trades, sorry.
Please note that all sales are binding and final. This car is being sold "as-is" with no warranty expressed or implied. Please carefully read the terms & conditions of the sale before bidding. A $1000.00 deposit via bank to bank wire or certified check must happen within 48 hours of winning the auction.
