52 New Rides, 34 Sold: Hybrids Top the Lot (Nov 7, 2026)

MCL Weekly Update

194 live listings (up from 176) — 34 sold, 52 new this week

Hybrids top the lot this week. A 2015 Prius at JBPHH for $6,450 and a Lexus hybrid for $6,950 lead a Top 20 packed with affordable compacts and sedans — and eight of the twenty picks sit at mainland bases, from Texas to Florida.

The market keeps rewarding exactly that kind of car. Cox Automotive's full-October Manheim index landed at 206.8, up 2.0% year over year, with compact cars and EVs showing the most strength while pickups, luxury models and larger SUVs sit below year-ago levels — light-duty trucks are the weakest group at -4.3%. Gas eased to $4.10 nationally, still a record high for November, and holds at $5.64 in Hawaii, so efficient cars keep drawing the fastest attention on base lots.

Turnover stayed brisk: 34 listings sold or came off the lot, including six of last week's Top 20 — the $8,900 Prius, the Schofield Altima, the Randolph Forte and Kona, the $1,700 Spark, and the Cruze, which is already back at $1,000 less under a new listing. Sellers also cut prices on 10 more, every one a cut, led by a $2,000 drop on the Eglin camper in this week's list and a $1,000 cut on the Hickam Forte. With 52 fresh arrivals, there is more to choose from than any week this fall.
