Where to Find the Best Military Discounts on Cars

If I am in the market for buying a car, the first thing my mind gravitates to is DISCOUNTS!  Assuming that you like to save $$$ as much as I do, let’s get started on our journey of sniffing out the sales.  The first step in finding the best military discounts on cars is knowing who offers what.  From what I’ve found thus far, here is a list of the top car manufacturers that have got your back:

1)  Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge:  Three words for you:  Military Bonus Cash!  We’re talking about saving $500 baby!  This discount is applicable for active duty, retired, reserved and retired reserved.  They also advertise free lube, oil and filter service for up to three years.  In their words:  ”Go ahead, enjoy the freedom to roam, in the country you serve and defend!”  Click here for more details.

2)  Ford:  Being one of the top American car manufacturers in history, you can expect Ford to treat the military with some top-notch service.  Ford is currently extending a $500 rebate to military customers and their families!  On a further note, Ford has a very heavily promoted offer for those serving abroad.  So when you’re serving overseas and missing home, Ford will help get you set to cruise the world with some high class American fashion at a discounted rate!  Want to know more about their Military Advantage Program?  Check it out!

3)  GM: These guys don’t hold back on the discounts offered to the military.  In fact, they claim their military discount to be “The best military discount offered by a car company”!  Those eligible for GM’s discounts include active duty, reserves, veterans (Discharged within one year) and military spouses.  They bundle together preferred pricing, current incentives, a 5 year/100,000 mile warranty and free 24 hour roadside assistance/OnStar for the first 6 months.  Not too shabby!  Click here for more info. 

4)  Toyota: If you’re thinking about buying a new Toyota, think about how good it will feel to save $500!  When you finance through your Toyota dealer and Toyota Financial Services, you save $500 straight up.  If you’re looking for a reliable car to have for the next 20 years, this isn’t a bad place to start looking.  Click here for more information on the $500 military discount.

5)  Audi:  Their military discount special works great if you’re stationed outside of the US.  If you’re not deployed, forget going with Audi if a discount is what you seek.  This program is only offered abroad.  If you are serving abroad, you can get 100% price protection and can save a boat load of money.  How much is a boat load?  While Audi doesn’t specify in their ad, they promote the offer to save you “thousands of dollars”!  Click here for more details.
